AS A PERSON WITH LEGAL INSURED INSURANCE, YOU ARE EXPRESSLY WELCOME TO MY CONSULTATION HOURS!

IF YOU HAVE STATUTORY INSURANCE, I WILL HAVE TO CHARGE YOU FOR THE COSTS OF A PRIVATE MEDICAL CONSULTATION AND EXAMINATION DURING THE CONSULTATION HOURS AT MY LOCATION IN MAINZ AS A “Self-Payer”.

HOWEVER, YOU DON’T HAVE TO FEAR HIGH COSTS!

WE CHARGE based on the official fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ), for example, for an initial consultation. I can therefore take time for you and you will receive a thorough examination and advice.

If further extensive diagnostic and/or therapeutic measures (e.g. ultrasound examination, X-ray examination, injection therapy, shock wave therapy, etc.) are necessary, I will of course inform you of the costs in advance and, if necessary, give you a cost estimate. Alternatively, I will be happy to issue you with referrals.

As an orthopedic surgeon, a large part of my daily work involves the surgical treatment of advanced joint problems. If a surgical procedure is necessary in your case, I can usually carry it out without any problems and bill it directly through the relevant statutory health insurance company. If there is an appropriate indication, a so-called application for individual cost coverage is submitted for this. There are no additional costs for you. The majority of statutory health insurance companies now offer this procedure on a regular basis.

ALTERNATIVELY, I CAN OPERATE ON PATIENTS WITH ALL STATUTORY INSURANCES THROUGH COOPERATIONS AND EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS IN PUBLIC HOSPITALS. THE CLINIC WILL THEN BILL THEM REGULARLY THROUGH THE STATUTORY HEALTH INSURANCE.
